Cheap veneers – do they exist?

Cheap Veneers UK: Can You Really Get Them?

We’ve warned patients time and time again to avoid going abroad for their treatments.

We have had to reverse and correct so many incorrectly performed procedures for patients trusting unregulated dentists abroad, which end up costing our patients so much more money than they would have originally spent coming to our practice.

We’re considered one of the best cosmetic dental practices for a reason!

The reality of the matter is that you do not need to go abroad for cheap veneers and affordable cosmetic dentistry, and believe it or not, but there are multiple affordable options so much closer to home than you might think.

The true cost of veneers

In truth, you will need to come into the practice for a free consultation.

This is just not to get you here and sell you stuff and not to conceal the price either!

We have nothing to hide. Our porcelain veneers cost from £1,200 per tooth.

To do our job correctly and provide you with an accurate quote, we will need to take a look inside your mouth.

This way we can recommend the number of veneers needed and see if you are a suitable candidate for the various types of veneer procedures from Durathin to Composite

Because there are so many different types of veneers and materials, discussing which will be the best for you will not be so easy over the phone.

So, come down to our practice in London or Hertfordshire and see what works best for you!

We understand that many of our patients want access to the most cost-effective cosmetic procedures and believe it or not, but there are actually a lot of effective treatments that work for many different household budgets.

One of the cheapest types of veneer materials is composite resin, we call these immediate veneers or composite veneers. But what are they like?

  • Composite veneers are not permanent and can last anywhere from five to seven years
  • The resin is sculpted directly to the tooth and does not damage or alter the underlying tooth in any way
  • They are often recommended for patients with small minor oral imperfections

Composite veneers cost from £700 per tooth and are mostly used to touch up a few front teeth that may appear cracked, chipped or broken.

Porcelain veneers

For a newer more youthful smile, veneers provide a popular affordable, non invasive choice.Types include:

How much do veneers cost by brand?

  • Porcelain veneers are the most expensive type of veneer, this is because their quality is incomparable to any other veneer type.
  • Extremely strong and long-lasting, your porcelain veneers can probably last for life with the right care and attention.
  • Resistant to staining and incredibly thin, porcelain can create the whitest, most natural-looking smiles.

Composite veneers

There are two types of composite veneers:

  • Indirect
  • Direct

These two distinctions do not differ in material, but rather the application process. Direct composite veneers are applied directly to the teeth with a minimally invasive preparation of the tooth.

Indirect, however, will go through the same preparation, but the veneers will be custom made outside of the mouth (in a dental lab).

Once these veneers are ready they will be applied to your teeth with adhesive.

This type of composite veneer is stronger and can withstand more abrasions, however, they cost slightly more.
