Implants Explained
Implants provide an excellent long-term solution to any part of your mouth where there are missing teeth.
A dental implant is a medical device used to replace a missing or failing tooth.
We will surgically place the dental implant into the bone. We then have to wait for the bone to integrate with the implant.
The implant is usually designed to allow mechanical fixation of the bone to it over time. This process is called osseointegration.
They then go on to support a prosthesis restoration such as a crown, bridge or removable denture.
