Is art really subjective? Is Cosmetic Dentistry subjective?

On attending one of our dental meetings we visited the city of Florence, Italy. As part of a site seeing tour, we went to see the famous marble statue of “David” by the Italian artist Michelangelo in Galleria dell’Accademia. This is definitely a must-see for anyone going to Tuscany.

On looking upon this exquisite Renaissance sculpture it is very evident how beautiful it is. It is also apparent the level of skill and talent that had gone into creating it. With this in mind, Dr. Doshi at The Perfect Smile Studios believes that a beautiful smile is also apparent to anyone who looks upon that face.

Indeed sometimes we see a pretty beautiful face but lack the knowledge to understand the aspects that make that face so stunning. We assume it’s the hair or make-up or just stare in awe.

Beautiful smiles and masterpieces are not created out of luck or by chance especially when it comes to aesthetic dentistry.

However, to create such masterpieces in Cosmetic Dentistry it requires 5 key fundamentals:

o Experience. To create beautiful stunning smile makeovers or tooth veneers or smile designs requires a considerable amount of experience. This is because experienced dentists such as Dr. Doshi have built their knowledge based upon what works best and things that don’t work as they should. This experience is invaluable. Dr. Doshi has been able to build this experience via his practice of dentistry and via his teaching through The Perfect Smile Advanced Training Institute.

o Skill. Admittedly this can be developed. However, it can sometimes take years of training to fine-tune the skills required to produce masterpieces. Dr. Doshi has been working on his skill for over 25 years and has founded The Perfect Smile Studios and Advanced Training Institute, together with all the techniques he has taught over the years. This surmounts to a great deal of skill and expertise.

o Talent. This is the natural innate ability that the few gifted have to create fabulous work. You will find this talent is evident from all our work at The Perfect Smile Studios. We have painstakingly sought all our top dentists and specialists to create a substantial team that actually works as one team. We have numerous photographs of work carried out on our journey to excellence. We invite you to come and see for yourself.

o Innovation. Sometimes it requires ingenuity and innovation to help make the smile makeover the precise way you want it to be. At The Perfect Smile Studios, you will find that we are at the forefront of design, technology, and innovation. We use modern dentistry to overcome many barriers to successful treatments. Also, Dr. Doshi’s clinical editorship of Premium Practice Dentistry publication provides the most ideal platform of innovation.

o Passion. This is the essence of all work carried out by Dr. Rahul Doshi and his team of specialists. This will very quickly become evident to you when you come to see us for your FREE Consultation. Dr. Doshi says, “ Passion is everything. Without this very vital key ingredient, work can be lifeless and not enjoyable. The resulting smile needs to emit this passion and I believe I cannot work without it. I love what I do and hence I am able to create masterpieces. You cannot do this if you don’t love your work.”

At The Perfect Smile Studios, art is really not as subjective as we believe at first instance. If you have the key ingredients in the mix that goes into making smile makeovers, smile designs and tooth veneers then nothing but stunning masterpieces will result.
